Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data Mofetty LLC collects through mofetty.com, why we collect it and what rights you have over it.

The short version. This site has no analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising and no cookies. We only receive personal data if you choose to write to us or send the contact form. We never sell it and we never share it for marketing.

1. Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is Mofetty LLC, a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of New Mexico, United States.

2. What data we collect

Data you give us

If you use the contact form or write to us by email, we receive the information you provide: your name, your email address, optionally your company, and the content of your message.

Data collected automatically

Our hosting provider records standard technical server logs, which include the IP address of the request, the date and time, the page requested and the browser's user-agent string. These logs exist to keep the site running and to defend it against attacks and abuse. We do not use them to build profiles and we do not combine them with any other data.

3. Why we use it, and on what legal basis

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not send marketing emails unless you have asked us to.

4. How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months from the last contact, so that we can follow up on conversations and keep a record of what was discussed. If the enquiry becomes a contract, the data is kept for as long as the commercial relationship lasts and for the periods required by applicable accounting and tax rules. Server logs are retained for a short period by the hosting provider and then deleted.

5. Who else can see it

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising. It is accessible only to the providers we need in order to run the site and receive your messages, acting on our instructions:

Fonts and every other asset on this site are served from our own domain, so loading a page does not send any request to a third party.

6. International transfers

Mofetty LLC is established in the United States and its providers process data there. If you write to us from the European Economic Area, your data is therefore transferred to the United States. We rely on the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission, which our providers incorporate into their terms, as the safeguard for those transfers.

7. Your rights

You can ask us at any time to give you a copy of the data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict how we use it, to receive it in a portable format, or to object to our use of it. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within one month.

If you are in the European Economic Area and you believe we have handled your data improperly, you also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority. In Spain that is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos.

8. Security

The whole site is served over HTTPS, so traffic between your browser and our server is encrypted. We apply security headers to limit common attacks and we keep access to the mailbox restricted to the people who need it.

9. Children

This website is aimed at businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has sent us personal data, write to us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and change the date below. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage.
